Who We Are
Our company started its activities in 2011 under the leadership of Dr. Yakup Kasımoğlu, with the aim of improving service quality and treatment success in the healthcare sector. Within two years of its founding, Cenomed grew rapidly and adopted its current name, and contributes to the successful treatment of hundreds of patients across Turkey.
Focused in particular on tissue engineering and advanced therapy products, we continuously track innovations and developments in this field. We provide training on where and how the products we supply can be used most effectively, and we work alongside physicians to produce better treatment solutions.
Starting with cardiovascular surgery products, our product range has continued to grow, adding spinal, orthopedic, dental, ENT, and plastic-surgery grafts over time.
To achieve our goals, our company serves as the sole authorized distributor in Turkey of CenoBiologics, Europe's leading tissue-engineering organization, whose products are used in many parts of the world. We supply hundreds of advanced therapy products in the CenoBone, CenoDerm, CenoMembrane, CenoValve, CenoTendon, CenoVein, CenoConduit, CenoArtery, and AmniPatch categories.
We aim to make the high treatment quality provided by our products accessible to patients and doctors all over our country, and we continue to work on this path.
The CenoBiologics Tissue Center
CenoBiologics is a tissue-engineering company founded in 2011 by practitioners with more than 20 years of experience in the field.
Operating from a state-of-the-art facility built at Bedford Technology Park in the United Kingdom, the company processes human-derived grafts and supplies them internationally. It works under a quality-management system designed to comply with all legal obligations and high standards set by the FDA, EU, HTA, and ISO (13485 & 9001). Our products are insured for up to £5,000,000 against any product-related issue.
A member of EATB (European Association of Tissue Banks), CenoBiologics operates in compliance with the standards and ethical rules established by both AATB (American Association of Tissue Banks) and EATB.
All inspections and licensing of CenoBiologics' production facility are carried out periodically by the HTA (Human Tissue Authority).
Pursuant to the "Regulation on the Quality and Safety of Human Tissues and Cells and Related Centers", published in the Official Gazette of Turkey No. 27742 on October 27, 2010, CenoBiologics is one of the institutions whose pre-application has been accepted by the Turkish Ministry of Health, Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency.
The licensing process is ongoing in accordance with the "Communiqué on the Licensing of Human Tissue and Cell Products and the Centers Carrying Out Production, Import, Export, Storage, and Distribution Activities of These Products", published in the Official Gazette of Turkey No. 28962 on April 4, 2014.
